A Spring-Summer Season of Interior Design and Community

It feels great to be back! After five months of incredible collaboration with my clients in Sydney, I’ve just touched down in France, ready to kick off the spring-summer season for Andrew Loader Design. Landing in Paris always feels like coming home, a familiar comfort that charges me up for the creative journey ahead.

This year’s journey was a bit more… scenic, shall we say. With everything happening in the Middle East, a last-minute flight change meant a detour via Hong Kong. It was a strange period, of course, but it also gave me plenty of extra flight time – perfect for dreaming up fresh, creative solutions for my fantastic French clients! And for my Sydney connections, don’t worry, our collaborations are continuing seamlessly through my online interior design services, no matter where I am in the world.

After a couple of rejuvenating days in the City of Lights, it was time to head south-west to the beautiful Charente department. Arriving in Cognac, I was met with the warmest welcome, our neighbours, those absolute stars, had already opened up the windows, letting the fresh country air sweep through after five months of being closed up. Honestly, for over a decade, I’ve been so fortunate to have met such wonderful friends and neighbours here; there’s a genuine sense of community and warmth, where everyone truly looks out for one another.
