Modern Luxury Redefined: A Redfern Penthouse Interior Design Project
Luxurious Finishes: Porcelain Tiles, Cedar Panelling, and Dark Floors
Perched atop a Redfern building, this stunning penthouse boasts breathtaking 180-degree views of Moore Park, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Darling Harbour precinct. Andrew Loader Design, a renowned Sydney interior designer, was tasked with transforming the drab and dated apartment into a modern oasis.
Reimagining the Space
Andrew Loader Design reassessed the proposed use of each space, re-allocating areas to accommodate a modern lifestyle:

Open-Plan Living: The kitchen was opened up to the living and dining room, creating a seamless flow.

Smart Storage Solutions: Custom-made cabinetry and a redesigned laundry maximised storage capacity.

Luxurious Bathrooms: En-suite and main bathrooms were revamped with large-format porcelain tiles, feature wall-mounted lighting, and chrome fittings.
Retro-Chic Design Concept
Inspired by the 1950s and 1960s, our design concept incorporated:

Automated Sheer Curtaining: Remote-controlled sheer curtaining added an elegant touch.

Striking Porcelain Tiles: A reflective porcelain tile was selected for the kitchen, amplifying natural light.

Dark Floors and Cedar Panelling: Chocolate matte-finish floors and cedar panelling added warmth and texture.
